Learn to sculpt in our new handbuilding space! Small class setting with 8:1 student to teacher ratio. You'll develop many techniques including: rolling out and working with slabs of clay, slipping and scoring, adding texture to your pieces, and more.
Our classes are intended for adults only, but we accept teens 14 years or older. Classes that do not reach the minimum enrollment of 3 students a week prior to the class may be cancelled or rescheduled. In this event, any registered students will be contacted and can choose to transfer to another class if the delay conflicts with their schedule.
Wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty. Tie long hair back and cut long nails short.

Learn the beautiful art of wheel throwing from one of our experienced teachers, in a very small class setting with low teacher to student ration. Throw and trim your pots on the pottery wheel. Basic tools are provided to each student. Unlimited access to studio and reclaim clay during the duration of the class. Coming in to practice is strongly recommended!

Week 1: Centering and pulling cylinders
Week 2: studio tour, trimming, more throwing
Week 3: Throwing and shaping techniques
Week 4: Trimming all pots, a little handbuilding if time permits
Week 5: Glazing
